David Beckham set to receive knighthood on King Charles’ birthday. The 50-year-old former England captain was appointed an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) in 2003.

UNICEF, which supports underprivileged children around the world, launched the “David Beckham UNICEF Fund” in 2015 to celebrate 10 years of collaboration between the two parties.

Beckham becomes a King’s Foundation Ambassador in 2024, supporting King Charles’ education projects and efforts to help young people understand nature better.

He is also co-owner of League Two side Salford City and chairman and co-owner of Major League Soccer side Inter Miami.

He helped found the Inter Miami CF Foundation, a community-driven nonprofit organization that aims to empower underserved communities using football as a catalyst.

“We do not comment on rumors about honor,” a government spokesman said.

Beckham’s representative also declined to comment.
