Lamine Yamal impressive performance as Spain beat France 5-4 in the Nations League earned him the Ballon d’Or award, according to the Spain boss.
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has hailed Lamine Yamal as deserving of this year’s Ballon d’Or award after the 17-year-old forward once again impressed, scoring twice as Spain beat France 5-4 in the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League.

Spanish Football Federation president Rafael Luzan also expressed his admiration, saying: ‘It’s clear, not just because of the two goals, but because of the great game he played. Everything he did was impressive.’
